After graduating from The Ohio State University, Duwayne began her career in banking with Huntington National Bank in Ohio. At Huntington she worked in both retail and commercial banking, having reached the position of Assistant Vice President/Portfolio Manager in the commercial banking sector.

Duwayne brought her financial background and customer service experience to Total Med Solutions where she managed front desk operations, the scheduling department and patient relations for the last six years. For Empower, Duwayne is a TWC Certified School Representative working with students on their desired curriculum path, answering questions and reviewing the enrollment process. She assists in the coordination of students training, front desk operations and working with our model database.

For Duwayne, it’s exciting to see the students continuing their education in an environment where they become close with the instructors and their classmates. Since Empower offers such an intimate classroom size it is a great opportunity for students to be comfortable participating and for us to get to know our students better! Seeing the smiles on their faces and knowing the students really enjoy the interactive learning environment warms her heart.
